But you know what? The team almost pulled off a September-caliber rally, coming from being down 8-1 in the fifth inning to losing by only one run, and they did it with plain old utilitarian move-the-guy-along hitting. (And, for that matter, without Nomar.) It's also promising that the rest of the relievers were in fine form.
